The House of Fabric collects only what it needs to make and deliver your order. This page explains exactly what that is.
1. What we collect
Order details — your name, email, phone number and delivery address, plus GSTIN and business name if you request a GST invoice.
Your designs — artwork you upload or create in the Design Studio, and the print settings you choose, stored so we can print your order and show you your history.
Browsing basics — a session cookie that keeps your bag together and, if you sign in, your account session. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
2. How we use it
To confirm, produce and deliver your order; to send order updates on WhatsApp and email; to issue invoices; to answer support requests; and to prevent fraud and abuse. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
3. Who we share it with
Only what each partner needs to do its job: our payment partner (Razorpay) processes your payment — we never see or store your card or UPI credentials; couriers receive your name, address and phone to deliver the parcel; our production units (the LD group mills and print house) receive the order specification and artwork needed to make it; and our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Neon) host the website and database.
4. How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept as long as Indian tax law requires. Uploaded artwork is kept so you can reorder; you can ask us to delete artwork that is not attached to an order we must retain.
5. Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete your personal data, or to export what we hold about you, by writing to hello@thehouseoffabric.com. We respond within 30 days. See also our contact page for the grievance contact under Indian consumer and IT rules.
6. Security
Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), payment credentials never touch our servers, and access to order data is restricted to the team that fulfils orders. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the surface small: we simply don't collect what we don't need.
7. Changes
If this policy changes materially we will note it here with a new “last updated” date.
